While I cannot complain (too much) about my professional life, there is a huge gap in my life where a husband and children were supposed to be. Although I will forever be disappointed that I have not found that in my life, I feel that I have been able to build and nurture close relationships with my extended family. There are many ways to find companionship, but I totally agree with you about looking for a partner. I have people I can rely on, but not really anyone to share my life with.
